Terms of service
What the service is
tinycarousel takes photos you provide and helps you turn them into carousel posts, with text written by an AI model that you can edit. It can export those posts as image files, and for paid accounts it can publish them to social accounts you connect.
Your content is yours
You keep every right you already had in the photos you bring and the carousels you make. We claim no ownership and no licence to use them for anything beyond running the service for you, which for photos means passing downscaled copies to the AI model when you ask for slides, and for finished slides means storing and delivering them when you ask us to publish.
What you agree not to do
- Upload photos you do not have the right to use.
- Publish content that breaks the rules of the platform you are posting to.
- Use the service for anything unlawful, or to harass or impersonate anyone.
- Work around the rate limits, or resell access to the AI behind them.
We can suspend an account that does these things.
AI written text
The headlines, body text and captions are generated by a model and can be wrong, dull or oddly phrased. Read them before you publish. You are responsible for what goes out under your name, and the app is built around editing every word for exactly that reason.
Publishing to other platforms
When you connect a social account you are letting us post on your behalf, within the permissions that platform grants us. Those platforms set their own rules, rate limits and outages, and we cannot promise a post will succeed. A failed post is reported to you rather than retried forever.
Instagram requires a professional account and rejects some formats, including 9:16 carousels. The app checks what it can before uploading, but the platform has the final say.
Paid plans
Paid plans are billed through Dodo Payments as merchant of record, and their terms cover the transaction itself. A subscription runs until you cancel it and gives access for the period already paid for. Prices can change with notice before your next renewal.
Availability
This is a small service and it can go down, change or lose features. Scheduled posts depend on our servers running at the moment they are due. We do not promise uptime, and we recommend keeping your own copy of anything you care about by exporting it.
Liability
The service is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data or missed posts, and any liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending it
You can stop using the service at any time, disconnect your accounts and ask us to delete your data. We can end an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why unless we are prevented from doing so.
